This is the first drawing that went into my Moleskine Sketchbook (Cat, a co-worker of mine, recommended this one to me). I have recently become infatuated with jumbo jets so I decided there wasnt a better way to start off my book.
I used pen for the sketch, added highlighter for the sun-like glow and later Photoshop used for the sky (may go back to this drawing and add the blue with marker).

haha, I found your blog! Was that blue done in the sketchbook or added in with photoshop/illustrator? It's really cool. Check out Stef Kardos' blog, he does cool sketches from life with a pen, takes a snapshot for lighting/color reference, and then photoshops the color in later. They look awesome.

...and yeah, was added in with Photoshop. I will probably go back and put it in my book that way too.
